Bonjour, Boxcar Teens!

We could not be more thrilled to be launching our teen program with the epic story that is Les Misérables. Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. This uplifting story has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history.

Our four week musical theater summer program is designed to give aspiring performers a comprehensive training experience culminating in a full scale musical production. Over the course of the program, students will receive training in a range of musical theater skills, including singing, acting and dancing.

In order to secure a spot in the program,

  1. When you are logged into the portal, please click on the “Enroll in Auto-Pay” icon and input your payment information.
  2. Please e-mail laura.boxcarstageco@gmail.com to let us know that you are requesting to enroll in the payment plan. From there, we will register you into the program from the back end and apply the following payment plan to your account:
Three payments totaling $900.00:
  • July 1st - $300.00
  • August 1st - $300.00
  • September 1st - $300.00
  1. The balance will appear on your portal, and your account will automatically be charged on the dates above.
Auditions will be held on Friday July 7th at Milton High School and run from 10am - 5pm. Please note that students will not be needed for the whole day. 
The day will be split up into three sections. 

10:00 - 1:00pm - Individual singing auditions (10 minutes per student)

1:00 - 2:00pm - Movement Call (ALL)

2:00 - 5:00pm - Individual singing auditions (10 minutes per student)

Please be aware that once auditions are complete, no refunds will be issued.
Students will only need to be present for their individual singing slot and for the movement call. 
Because the show is 98% sung through, we will not be holding traditional callbacks with scenes. Instead, we are asking that everyone please prepare two contrasting song cuts from the provided materials, available at this link.

We are asking that these selections be fully prepared and memorized.

If you are unable to attend auditions on July 7th, please e-mail laura.boxcarstageco@gmail.com and we will send you instructions on how to submit a video audition. 

Please note that we will only be accepting video submissions from students who have already registered, so please make sure to complete that process before requesting to submit a video audition!
